The Person

About Me

My name is Jacob Babcock, and I was born in a small town in the Upper Penninsula (yes, i’m a yooper) of Michigan that goes by the name of Houghton.  Upon birth, I did not become a hermit.  Instead, I discovered a circular type of object that we often refer to as “the ball”.  Little did I know at the time, that “the ball” would become my passion.  Not just one of them, but many.

My first ball became the basketball.  The feeling of grabbing a rebound, making the extra pass, getting a steal, and running the court was and still is a feeling that nothing compares too.

My second ball became the soccer ball.  The feeling of running with the wind at your back, beating your defender, and putting the ball in the back of the net is an incredible rush.

My third ball became the golf ball.  The feeling of  knowing you are going to make a putt, trusting your game, and the comradery that the ball brings is a tremendous feeling.

In sports as in life, anything can happen.  However, most often it is the person who works the hardest and has the most heart and passion for what they are doing that is successful.

My name is Jacob Babcock.  I am a passionate, hard-working, and inspired professional who is goal-driven, dependable, and up-beat.

I graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing that included a focus in Professional Golf Management.  I am now looking to begin my career in the sports industry whether it be within a college athletic department, professional sports team, or golf club.
